I originally purchased this product about 5 years ago and instantly loved it, not only did it really deep clean my face but it kept the acne at bay. I also have extremely sensitive skin so it is really hard to find a really good cleanser that doesn’t irritate my skin and I have tried everything from the expensive handmade stuff to that junk you get on the infomercial but this magical little bar of soap is by far the best for me. And it is really decently priced for such a great product that actually works.

I purchased this product under the advisement of my physician for some underarm order issues I had been having. Since this soap is pH balancing it created an environment that could no longer sustain the bacteria and did in fact work! I have also noticed clearer skin, tighter pores and more even skin tone after using it on my face. I highly recommend this product.

We’ve been using pHisoderm bar soap for years, but recently we’ve been unable to find it in the retail stores at which we normally shop. Thinking that maybe it was no longer available anywhere, I decided to google it, and, lo and behold, Amazon popped up. We ordered two packs of 8 to get free shipping, making the price from Amazon lower than any price we’ve ever paid anywhere else. Phisoderm Anti-Blemish Cleansing Pads Review

This product works fairly well. It doesn’t get rid of acne very fast or anything, but it does help to decrease the amount of it. It doesn’t have a bad smell either. The smell that it does have fades after a few minutes. The only problem I have with it is drying under my nose. I do however have sensitive skin.

Directions
Use a pad to cleanse and cover the affected area with a thin layer of medicine 1 to 3 times daily. I bought this product for my soon-to-be 12-year-old son who is just beginning to develop white heads. It’s time for him to start a face washing/treatment routine and this seemed like a good place to start. It’s easy to use, especially when running out the door to catch the school bus. These pads contain salicylic acid, the medication of choice for white heads, as it exfoliates, preventing the pores from clogging in the first place. There are other products which have a higher concentration, (2%), but I was afraid that they would irritate his delicate skin.

Well, it’s only been a few days and already his skin is as clear as it was before he hit puberty! Like a baby’s bottom, as they say. I really, truly didn’t expect it to work this well or this quickly. Nor has it irritated or dried his skin.

I also tried it on my face. I’ve had a dry, flaky area, (did you know there’s a “U” zone as well as a “T” zone?), for a couple of years, now. NO AMOUNT of exfoliating and moisturizing has solved the problem. GONE! Next, I’m going to attack my husband’s face with these babies…………

I’m a believer. At this price, who wouldn’t be? I’m ordering more before the price goes up.

I bought this product at a local supermarket with a big purple $2-off coupon on the front. I was skeptical because of the price. I read the back of the bottle and it claimed to clean dirt, oil and makeup without drying. The front said it gives a “glowing, balanced complexion”. It was exactly what I was looking for! =] I’ve been using it for two weeks and here’s what I think so far:

Pros – Leaves skin feeling really clean and smooth, has a great “lockable” pump dispenser, a little bit goes a long way, light scent, helped to heal up a cystic pimple, is actually fading dark spots and giving me an even compexion (In just two weeks!)

Cons – Does tend to leave a slight film on skin post-wash, second ingredient is sodium laureth sulfate, might be a little too strong for every day use

I’m 62 years old and have used Phisoderm products since I was 18 years old. I got a severe sunburn on my face when I was 17. Everything I tried on my face irritated my skin. Finally I tried the old Phisohex product and it cleaned my skin without irritation. Later the company had to quit making phisohex and I started using the white Phisoderm. It too worked for me. A few years ago they quit selling the white Phisoderm in my area. I tried several other products but each one burned or irritated my skin. I then tried the Phisoderm anti-blemish gel facial wash and it’s as good as the previous phisoderm products.

I absolutely love this face wash! I had been using AcneFree Severe Acne Treatment System which WAS working really well (see my review). However, I do not feel the AcneFree system is designed for prolonged use; I used it on a daily basis for over a year. Recently though my break-outs were horrible and my skin was over-producing oil. I tried switching makeup and then face wash (I tried Purpose and Neutrogena Oil Free), but neither of these worked. So I then switched to pHisoderm Anti-Blemish Gel Facial Wash. It honestly has worked miracles for me. I use it in conjunction with Bare Minerals makeup and my face has never looked better. My face is NEVER oily now which is a complete turn-a-round. This product can be a little drying so you may need/want to use a moisturizer (I can’t use moisturizers because they cause my skin to break out).

Phisoderm Anti-Blemish Body Wash Review

I have used the Phisoderm Anti-Blemish Body Wash and I like this better. You get 12oz instead of the 8.5oz with the Neutrogena for a better price. I just started using it so I’m not sure how well it works overtime but I’m sure it works as well as the Neutrogena which was minimal. I use this every morning in the shower to clean my face, chest and arms. They both have 2% salicylic acid as the active ingredient. It really controls the bumps on my arms, and my it reduces the blackheads on my face. I have very mild acne (occaisional blemish on the face and some bumps/whiteheads on the upper arms) and this keeps it in check. I’ve tried other body washes and scrubs but many of them leave a film or are too harsh on my dry and sensitive skin. This product is mild, won’t overdry and rinses off clean. I would definitely purchase again as it is cheaper now than when I purchased and I really like the scent. Its also hard to find in the store. I’ve only seen it at Walgreens and it was over $6.00 there.
