This has been my daily moisturizer for several years. It makes my skin very soft, very healthy looking, and glowing. It makes me look radiant. I have given it as a gift to my sister and to other women, and they have all liked it as much as I have. No one has had any adverse reactions. You can notice a difference after just one use. When I’ve run out and used something else temporarily, I always can see the difference again once I start back up. It is as close as it gets to a miracle cream.

I do not wear makeup, so Hope In A Jar is it. I am 49 years old and I think my skin looks incredible. The friends I have given it to also like to keep a natural look and prefer their skin without heavy creams, thick moisturizers and sunscreens, or makeup.

The women I know who are fans of Hope In A Jar are like me. We’re kind of lazy no-fuss “one cream that does it all” people; instead of one jar of something for one thing, and another for something else—eye creams, night time moisturizers, daytime moisturizers, etc.—we’re the type that wants just one that can do the job and then be done with it. In other words, we don’t have the patience to fuss with our looks a lot, or to spend money buying bunches of different creams to keep track of and remember to use.

Unlike other reviewers, I love the smell, which is not perfumey, but definitely pleasantly distinctive. I use it around my eyes also, and have not had an allergic reaction. It seems, though, that these are the two biggest problems with Hope—the distinctive odor and allergic reactions among some people. I would suggest buying it the first time from somewhere you could return it if you don’t care for it; although in my opinion, this would be unlikely, apparently it is possible. Philosophy now makes another version of Hope In A Jar for sensitive skin; if you know that your skin in tempermental, perhaps it would be better to also try this version. I have stuck with Hope In A Jar because it works so well for me.

It seems expensive, but it is not because it lasts a long, long time. The two-ounce jar lasts me about six months. I use a toner and then Hope In A Jar and that’s it. I’m done with my face in 30 seconds. Plus, it gives me a look that most women use makeup to get, so I think it’s a bargain.

I cannot rave enough about Philosophy Hope in a Jar for dry, sensitive skin. I have only been using it a little over a month and the improvement of my skin is amazing. I have sensitive, combination skin, but in the winter months (and since hitting 40) my dry patches have been getting dryer, so I decided to try the dry and sensitive formula and I am so glad I did. It not only got rid of all the dryness but has made my complexion so clear and smooth. AND, best of all, I decided to discontinue using my Lancome Renergie eye creme and try this instead and the difference is miraculous! It has not only drastically diminished the wrinkles under my eyes but the puffiness as well.

I do want to add that the very first time I used this I did experience some slight burning and redness, but my skin must have adjusted to it because I didn’t have any problems with it after that.

The Philosophy Hope In A Jar Moisturizer For Dry Sensitive Skin was the first Philosophy product I ever tried. I have dry skin and thought I would see if this moisturizer would do what it claimed! Was I ever pleasantly surprised! I have become a full fledged Philosophy Girl since then! I use “all” of their products! They’re wonderful! I especially recommend the Purity One Step Facial Cleanser, the Moisturizer, the Eye and Lip Cream and The Greatest Love hydrating microdermabrading scrub. These are absolute “basics” in my skin care regime! My skin has never felt or looked better! I also love, love, love the lip balms! They make your lips so soft and feel so good! I know I sound like a paid advertiser for their products, but I promise, I’m not! I just love Philosophy’s line and wanted to share my thoughts with anyone contemplating using their products! Aside from their facial skin care products, their bath and body products are good too! I told you, I use them all!

I bought this for my husband, whose sentivie skin is always red after shaving. But when I found myself without cream one morning, I dipped a finger into this. A finger that was red and irritated from unintentional contact with clorox. Well, this cream did what the prescription formula my doctor gave me (that cost twice as much) couldn’t- it calmed my red, chapped hands!
I have since become a devotee, using it every morning from chest to forhead (and hands, of course)and plan to order the biggest bottle they make.

I agree that this when hope is not enough replenishing cream should have more than 5 stars. I have been using philosophy products for years, and I absolutely love this cream. This is the best PM moisturizer I’ve ever used. For me it is quite simply the best product I have ever used. I use this at night time to reap the benefits. Leave it on and let the moisturize deep into the skin. My skin feels heavenly when I wake up in the morning. It even seems to help blemishes fade. I have tried many other creams that are quite good, but this stuff is the BOMB! Other night creams have been too greasy for me and/or have made me break out, but not this. I have normal, fair skin, and I didn’t wake up with any greasiness – just soft, smooth skin. I love the the texture of this moisturizer. It’s like room-temperature butter. The trick is to rub it between the tips of your fingers to melt it before applying it to your face. The heat from your fingers help to liquidfy the product to melt into your pores. I cannot recommend highly enough. It needs to be applied after a brief warm up on the hand (a little goes a long way) and then pressed into the skin.

OK, I have never written a review before, but since I have been using this supernatural poreless, flawless spf 15 for a year now and won’t live without it, I thought I would voice my opinion.

There have been only few products that have been as good in reality as on the description on the bottle–until now. I really like this product. I do not have smooth skin and I have some large pores in my T-zone area. After applying my face feels and appears smoother and the light tint does even out the color although it would not work as a foundation for me. Unlike other fair-skinned beauties, I can wear the peach tint without a problem–it seems to blend in with my skin after a few minutes of application.

I am a budget person and this is expensive to me, BUT it does make such a wonderful difference with my skin texture and how my makeup glides on that I will pay the price!!! I purchased this product to use as a primer for under the supernatural airbrush canvas powder. I almost like this primer without the powder even on it… but seem to apply the powder anyway.

A suggestion: the peach tint is subtle, but I’d still like a colorless option. A very good product. I can finally stop worrying so much about my skin and my large pores. I would bet this would be fabulous on younger less damaged skin. I will use this product until something better happens upon the scene, but for right now… I love the stuff!
