Directions
Adults – Brush a small amount twice daily. Rub in. Limit sun exposure and use a sunscreen, a sun blocking agent or protective clothing to cover bleached skin when using and after using this product in order to prevent darkening from reoccurring.

Scarguard Scarlight MD Review
I have been looking for an affordable hydroquinone product. Obagi and similar products are about $60 and up…so when I saw Scarlight I snapped it up, even though I simply want it for skin bleaching and not to remove any scars. I didn’t consider the fact that Scarlight only comes in a half-ounce bottle for $25 (Amazon’s price) whereas the Obagi (et al.) products tend to come in tubes or bottles of 1.7 ounces or more.
Scarlight = $50 per ounce. 2% hydroquinone.
Obagi Sunfader (for example) = $32 per ounce. 4% hydroquinone.
Yep, looks like I’m an idiot.
I do know it’s easier to apply the Scarlight than the Obagi. On the other hand Scarlight smells like sickroom-in-a-bottle. Ugh. So, unless this makes my dark areas miraculously white before the bottle runs out, I’m unlikely to be a repeat customer! It certainly feels more effective because it’s just a thick liquid, of which I needed only a few drops to do my whole decollete area, whereas with the hydroquinone creams I need a big blob of it.
As to its efficacy I trust it before seeing results because hydroquinone is a proven bleaching agent and has worked well for me before in other formulations. I just don’t know how long it will take to work.
