I LOVE this product. It’s kind of expensive, but here’s what it actually is: it’s almost like a makeup primer, sunscreen and illuminator in one. There’s just enough foundation in it so that after you apply, you only need to add concealer in problem spots. It leaves you with this “sheen” that no one would be able to pinpoint, no sparkles or anything ridiculous, and people have asked me if I’m pregnant twice, because they say I’m glowing. And the sunscreen is great because it’s important, but MORE IMPORTANT is the fact that it has NOT made me break out. And EVERYTHING makes me break out. I have an oily t-zone, and normal/dry everywhere else. I don’t have to use a moisurizer at all anymore, and I haven’t had to increase my t-zone powdering either. If that helps. I highly recommend this product. Also, one pump covers your entire face, and there’s always a bit left over, which I use on my decollete area – just an idea.

Neutrogena Light Night Cream Review

I was surprised to read that some people who tried this cream had a bad reaction to it, since I have freckled, dry, sensitive skin and I don’t know how I would live without it. I guess it’s true that “everybody different.” I use this cream as my daily moisturizer and it works wonderfully well for that purpose. Most creams will sink right in and then in an hour or so the top layer of your skin will look dry again. Not this one. It sinks right in but the top layer of your skin stays smooth and supple and doesn’t look dried out at all. It does the same on your hands. For my money it is the best moisturizer I’ve ever found. As others have mentioned, the fact that it doesn’t have added fragrances or a sunscreen are big a plus — those things are what irritate my skin terribly. I recommend this cream to everyone — particularly for daytime use, with or without makeup. It’s the best.

This is my favorite face lotion. I’ve tried others, but nothing compares.

It contains an SPF 15 sunscreen, to help protect my skin from the harmful rays of the sun. That is most important in keeping skin looking young and healthy.

It feels very light on the skin. Not so with other lotions containing sunscreens, which often start to flake or cake when they dry. Except for the fact that my skin feels nicely hydrated, I don’t even know that it’s there.

The fragrance is noticeable when opening the bottle. Although it’s not an unpleasant scent, someone sensitive to scents may not want to use this. However, the scent does dissipate quickly, or else maybe my nose becomes immune to the scent, but I really don’t notice it after it dries.

I have been using this product for many years. Occasionally, I will try another product, but I always come back. I will be turning 40 soon and many people are shocked when I reveal my age. Maybe it’s the Oil of Olay.

I have tried so many creams and moisturizers for my feet (heels very dry and scaly) and for my daughter’s legs (very dry and ashy in the winter), nothing ever worked, especially long term. I heard about this cream from my dermatologist (he wasn’t trying to sell it to me–doesn’t carry it in his office). The first thing I have to say is that when I opened the jar, the smell was wonderful. In fact, my daughter (4 years old) and I kept smelling it for the 1st week because we thought it was so yummy! I read the other post regarding the smell–I guess it is all up to the individuals smell receptors. I found it to be very mild and clean smelling–no cloying perfume smells. After using it for the first time, there was an immediate result. It is so thick and luxurious. It doesn’t completely rub into your skin (which has always been the problem with other products). It leaves a protective, soft barrier over your skin that lasts for awhile. It is not greasy or sticky. This is all I use now. I put it on my heels every night, as well as my daughters legs, and everyone is silky smooth! It is expensive, but it lasts a long time as a small dollop does the trick–you don’t need to use that much. I highly recommend this cream.

I am a huge fan. I just received Blue Lizard a few days ago and LOVE IT! I have extremely dry skin, especially in the winter; the skin on my hands cracks and bleeds – I basically lose my protective barrier. Despite Rx creams from my Dermatologist, I still get no relief. My skin has always been very sensitive to any kind of lotion, even those for sensitive skin types. This lotion, first given to me by my dermatologist, has been a godsend. I’ve never used anything else since. I can even use it on my legs right after I shave and get no breakouts or itchy irritation. It’s non-greasy and fast absorbing.

This DML Lotion is wonderful. It is the ONLY moisturizing lotion that I will use on my face. I have disgusting skin that is prone to moderate to severe acne. I also often experience serious dryness and eczema. This lotion does NOT make me break out AT ALL and is excellent to use at night before bedtime during the warmer months of the year. (In the winter I use the DML Forte cream). It has a wonderful light texture and is not greasy. Even my husband who has dry/chapped hands uses it and said that it’s the first lotion that I have ever purchased that cleared up our red, dry/chapped skin overnight. What we do is lotion up our hands and wear white cotton gloves to bed and in the morning our hands feel so soft and wonderful and the redness is GONE. Great Moisturing Lotion. I highly recommend it.
